Established in 1991, THE PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL FOR THE ARTS (PSA) offers superb classes and excellent training in voice, music theatre, dance and acting. Additionally, PSA provides excellent college preparation and outstanding performing arts audition skills for those students who wish to pursue a career in the performing arts or who have long held a dream of performing on stage.

PSA’s vocal training and dance classes are provided on a continuing basis. PSA’s music theatre and acting classes are taught in a series of sessions throughout the year. Our prestigious faculty is comprised of working stage professionals, many of whom enjoy Broadway, film and/or TV credits. Our students are frequent performers on and off Broadway, in regional theatres and civic light operas, and on national and international tours. PSA is a great place to study for serious professionals, as well as for those aspiring to the stage.

PSA is located 30 minutes South of Hollywood, in Old Downtown Torrance and serves all of the South Bay cities and the greater Los Angeles area. But because of our continued success over the past 20 years, our reputation and longevity now serve to attract students from all over the country. (Please note: PSA is not an accredited two- or four-year academic institution and does not offer advanced degrees in theatre arts.)
