Scholarship Audition Notice!
The Professional Arts Education Center is pleased to offer
scholarships in acting, music theatre, dance, and voice.
Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 10:30 a.m.
Ages 10 and up
at the Professional School for the Arts studios
1329 Sartori Avenue, Torrance, CA 90501
Scholarships are awarded based on desire, potential, talent, and financial need.
Recipients MUST be able to attend ALL scholarship classes.
No exceptions!
Audition requirements: Prepare the following, depending on the scholarship for which you are auditioning:
VOICE: a memorized music theatre-type song--no a cappella singing (bring sheet music in correct key), not to exceed 2 minutes;
DANCE: dance combinations will be taught. Dress to move. Bring tap, ballet, and jazz shoes, if you have them;
ACTING: a memorized monologue, preferably from a full-length play, not to exceed 2 minutes;
MUSIC THEATRE: all of the above requirements for voice, dance, and acting.
