Scholarship Audition Notice!

The Professional Arts Education Center is pleased to offer Summer 2008 Scholarships in acting, music theatre, dance, and voice.

Tuesday, May 27, 2008 - 7:00 pm
Ages 10 and up

at the Professional School for the Arts studios - 1329 Sartori Avenue, Torrance, CA 90501

Scholarships are awarded based on desire, potential, talent, and financial need. 
Recipients MUST be able to attend ALL scholarship classes.  No exceptions!

Audition requirements: Prepare the following, depending on the scholarship for which you are auditioning:
VOICE: a music theatre-type song--no a capella singing (bring sheet music in correct key), cannot exceed 2 minutes;
DANCE: dance combinations will be taught.  Dress to move.  Bring tap, ballet, and jazz shoes, if you have them;
ACTING: a two-minute monologue, preferably from a full-length play;
MUSIC THEATRE: all the above requirements for voice, dance and acting.
